Andrew Rogers

Andy Rogers has worked tirelessly for crime victims since 1988. After beginning his career as criminal prosecutor, Mr. Rogers has concentrated exclusively on representing crime victims in civil cases for over 20 years.

He has obtained substantial monetary compensation for numerous victims of crime, being lead counsel in obtaining some of the highest jury trial verdicts in the State of Georgia, including the following: $60 million – Cobb County, 2019; $46 million – Gwinnett County, 2018; $35 million – Cobb County, 2013; $6 million – Fulton County, 2014.He also has the honor of assisting victims in receiving meaningful counseling and therapy to heal their psychological wounds, while helping them understand and participate in the underlying criminal prosecution of their cases.

Mr. Rogers joined forces with Gilbert Deitch in 2008 to form Deitch & Rogers, The Crime Victim Law Group.

DEKALB COUNTY SOLICITOR’S OFFICE

  • Decatur, GA
  • Conducted more than 75 jury trials and was responsible for the prosecution of more than 3500 cases. Supervised the Domestic Violence Program, the Shoplifting Diversion Program, and Bad Check Program. Trained and supervised new assistant solicitors. Taught new and experienced police officers at the DeKalb courthouse offices. Taught new and experienced police officers at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center in Forsyth, GA. Assisted in drafting the first anti-Stalking legislation to be signed into law in the State of Georgia.
