Deitch + Rogers is proud to announce its support of the Mask Up for Justice campaign, a joint effort between the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association and the Georgia Defense Lawyers Association to provide personal protective equipment to Georgia’s courthouse facilities amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
This non-profit initiative is particularly focused on supplying clear masks to jurors, witnesses, and attorneys to ensure the safe resumption of jury trials. Juries are a vital facet of our justice system, and providing masks to courthouses throughout Georgia is an essential step toward equipping every courtroom, judge, clerk, deputy, and juror with one piece of the protection needed to begin moving toward re-starting the jury trial process in Georgia. Georgia citizens’ civil rights depend on the safe and successful reopening of the courthouses and courtrooms where justice can be done.
Mask Up for Justice is supported by the donations from individuals, attorneys, and organizations across Georgia. As trial lawyers devoted to representing crime victims in Metro Atlanta and state-wide, the Deitch + Rogers team is honored to be involved in this vital effort.
Numerous requests for supplies are already underway, and the number of requests is expected to increase in the coming months. If you are interested in contributing or becoming involved, you can learn more here.
